Baires was recognized by the newspaper La Nación and Banco Galicia

Every year, the newspaper La Nación together with the Galicia Bank organize the Export Excellence Award that aims to publicly recognize the efforts and achievements of Argentine companies, promote productions with greater added value and social impact and encourage the search for solutions and new paradigms that improve and boost the country's export profile.
The Park Hyatt Hotel Buenos Aires was the place chosen to bring together "those who bring the best of Argentina to the world" and the prestigious jury was made up of: Bernardo Kosacoff (Torcuato Di Tella University); Fabian Kon (Banco Galicia); José Del Rio (La Nación); Marcelo Elizondo (DNI); Diana Mondino (Ucema) and Enrique Mantilla (Chamber of Exporters of the Argentine Republic).
This year's edition is the IX and integrated six categories with four companies each. Baires received the prize in the shortlist "Going out to the World".
2018 meant the most important year in regards to our company's international sales. After a strong work of exploration, registration, adaptation of products and quality audits by the health agency of the country of destination, last year, the company made the first export to China. In addition, a new client was added in Nigeria, a country in which Argentine pet food exports were not registered and also has enormous potential. Finally, Bolivia, a destination in which Baires had ventured several years ago and was finally able to find a new distributor according to expectations.
In this way, it is positioned as the Argentine company that exports food for dogs and cats to a greater number of countries, including also the multinational companies installed in our country that lead the local and international market.
